Pros:

Cool control pod
A headphone output and line-input on the control pod is something that VideoLogic has had on their speakers for ages. Others have followed, and now Klipsch has added the features as well.

Great sound
Snooty audiophiles may complain about the sound, but the Klipsch Promedia still has a clean and bright (but not shrill) sound. These speakers are extremely versatile and sound great, whether you're listening to classical or techno music, watching movies, or playing Counter-Strike. Few other speakers can claim the ability to effectively reproduce such an eclectic mix of audio.

Excellent Bass
The deep, sufficiently musical bass is the cornerstone of the Promedia lineup. Anyone who complains about the Promedia's bass is either insecure and jealous or directly in the line of fire!

Cons

Price
The 4.1's are nearly identical to the v2.400. The control pod is great, but Klipsch is charging you full price for the upgrade.
