Game results
Let's look at the gaming results first, with a TNT thrown in for comparison as the current state of the art in 2D/3D cards. Before we start, I should note that the TNT is running at a very mild overclock of 100mhz instead of 90mhz. Ironically, the Rage128, originally slated for release at 100Mhz, has been pushed back to 90Mhz.
In response to this, ATI says:
ATI does not comment on the actual clock speeds of it products but we have achieved the target clock speed for the RAGE FURY product.
From what we've heard, the actual silicon of the shipping product may be different from the preliminary version we were given to test.

As you can see, the Rage 128 runs neck and neck with the TNT in most of the games, even with the latter overclocked. With future driver updates, there should be almost no difference between the two.
