With its faster bus, our specially configured Pentium 4 system is able to outpace our standard 1.6GHz system by merely 1% at 640x480x16 in 3DMark 2001. Once this is coupled with the faster 1066MHz RDRAM memory, the gap opens to 4%. In fact, this is just enough of a boost to allow the system to just squeeze ahead of a similarly configured Pentium 4 system at 1.8GHz.
