Ballistics Report
Pros
Ambidextrous
Too few mice, especially quality mice, are designed with left-handers in mind. It’s good to see someone taking care of this market. It’s quite comfortable, though doesn’t offer the easy use of all 7 buttons like it might if it was designed specifically with a hand-preference in mind.
Style
The long, sleek, low profile and attractive colors make for a sexy addition to the desktop.
Performance
I’m loathe to admit that better equipment makes a better player, but going from my old Logitech optical mouse (nothing special like a G7, but still a decent mouse) to the Copperhead is like going from a steady 30fps to 60fps rig.
Value
Officially priced at $80, we’ve found it for as low as $60 online. This is in the higher price range for mice, but comparable with the G7.
Cons
Not all buttons accessible
Either right- or left-handers will find the pair of buttons near the pinky finger difficult to use.
