Notes
This time around we have a much more concise list of specifications from MidiLand with only the essentials. We applaud MidiLand for providing decibel ranges for the frequency response, as this is the only accurate way to do it. For the real sticklers, they could have gone even farther by differentiating between an in-room response or a sound absorbing test chamber response. With 200 watts, the S4-8200s have plenty of power to fill your room.
A nice addition to this system is a wireless remote. In addition to volume adjustments, this remote can switch between inputs and decoding methods. The decoder used, the ADS 2000, is similar to stand-alone units we have seen from VideoLogic. One thing that is missing is more than one analog input, so those with multi-channel sound cards won't be able to take full advantage of your hardware.
