We wanted to pit all systems included in this article with CAS 2 latency timings. Unfortunately, the SiS reference board wasn't stable at that setting, so we used CAS latency 2.5 with the "Ultra" BIOS settings. All other systems utilized CAS 2 latency memory.

The SiS 735 board shipped with drivers for AGP and onboard audio. Microsoft's IDE drivers provided with Windows 98 and 2000 are all that's necessary for 735.
