F.E.A.R. Performance

F.E.A.R. – Direct3D

Notes

Both the Radeon X1950 Pro and X1950 XTX saw their performance decline under Vista when testing with F.E.A.R. Only the X1650 XT managed to come out with similar performance regardless of OS.

In the case of the X1950 XTX, performance dropped 10% when going from 32-bit Windows XP to 32-bit Windows Vista at 1600x1200, and about 7% when you compare the 64-bit OS’s. At the same resolution, the X1950 Pro saw a performance decrease of 6% for the 32-bit operating systems, and 8% when you compare 64-bit Vista to Windows XP x64.
