Introduction

Not everyone out there uses a name brand mouse. A lot of people end up stuck with some $5 job that their computer came with. Maybe you didn't know any better and settled for the $1.99 special at CompUSA. Or maybe you left your mouse dangling off the desk, then your German Shepherd walked over and decided to treat himself to a new chew toy. Whatever the case, you only know 2 things - you're a gamer and you want a quality mouse now. As with almost anything in life, you always get what you pay for. So you hit the store, ready to spend a little bit extra and skip over the no name mice. What to pick? It seems like there are as many mice to choose from as there are first person shooters on the shelf.

Logitech raised more than a few eyebrows when they announced the Wingman. They claim that this mouse is the first one designed specifically for gamers. Among the features bragged about by Logitech are a heavier mouseball, a thumb indentation for better grip, and a superior shape that "fits a wide variety of hand sizes." All that packaged in a stylish looking gray plastic casing. Is the Wingman Gaming Mouse hype? One thing's for sure; the Wingman mouse has a unique shape and design, but it is in fact, not a new design.
