This may seem like it is a bit of a rehash from our previous WinME article, but we felt it would be beneficial to add a little more data, as well as shed some more light on the topic of upgrading/updating. We have included general desktop performance numbers. We also thought it might be interesting to see the performance of a system that was upgraded from Win98SE to WinME, as compared to stand-alone installations of 98SE and ME. The WinME upgrade tag you will see is a system that was updated from Win98SE to WinME.
