We see that Win98SE definitely has something over WinME in these tests. We ran the tests multiple times and averaged the median numbers, because we noticed that the score results had a larger than average range. It seems that Win98SE is really the quicker OS for general work.

The WinME Upgrade and normal WinME installations tend to trade spots in performance. For all intents and purposes, the Upgrade behaved exactly the same as the clean install.
