Description:
After months of intense work, we are proud to introduce an entirely new class of heatsinks, which surpasses all previous high-performance Swiftech products by an order of magnitude (up to 6°C better at extremely low air flow rates).

Our primary design parameter was simple: to optimize the performance characteristics of our heatinks at the lowest possible audible noise level.

Our second-self imposed imperative was to ease the upgrade by only using plug-and-play retention mechanisms.

Designed for AMDŽ socket 462 processors, here is the first of this new series of products, the MCX462-V™ which will be shortly followed by its IntelŽ compatible counterparts.

Features highlights
Hybrid copper base, thin aluminum pin heatsink: the massive 1/2" thick copper base provides superior heat capacity for unparalleled stability in extreme overclocking applications. The thin aluminum pins promote increased turbulence for more efficient heat dissipation compared to traditional fin extrusions.

Patented Helicoid pin design (U.S. patent 6,469,898): pins are individually machined in an helicoid shape, to increase their surface area, and further enhance heat dissipation efficiency.
