The Wolf King Warrior has a very different layout from a standard keyboard key placement, forcing its would-be users to deviate from what they have learned over years of FPS gaming to adapt to the new protocols. Honestly, we could not wait to get back to using the regular keyboard, as it was always right there next to the Warrior, beckoning us to go back to what is comfortable and seemingly more efficient. FPS gamers will still need to keep the regular keyboard next to the Warrior when they need to type messages, and the somewhat illogical key arrangement can surely confuse the pinky when searching for the right key in the muddled Tab / Shift / Ctrl / tilde and Alt area. Trust us, this will take more than a few days to get used to before any action becomes instinctive. Just the notion of having two adjacent Ctrl buttons baffles any sane mind. Adding to the mix is a nicely laid out but tiny set of Function keys on the top half of the keyboard. These also require looking down to locate properly.

What we look for in a product like this is how it enhances one’s gaming experience, either by making it more enjoyable or somehow making the gamer more precise and efficient. It does neither of those tasks, while making it hard for the brain to get used to the layout.
