Does component upgrading ever end? Has this happened to you? You save money to finally get a decent Video Card to play those cool new games at high graphics quality. By the time you get it, your CPU is outdated and bottlenecking. So, you save and wait for enough to get you a new CPU, but your current CPU is currently the max your motherboard can use. So, it's now a new motherboard. Of course your old RAM is no longer compatible with the newer motherboards. So, you wait and save some more. Finally you get a new mobo, RAM and CPU. Those games run great now. However, they're not the new games anymore. It's taken so long that they're all now in the value bins. Now DirectX10 comes out and is Vista only. Shell out a couple of hundred for an OS that requires a couple more Gigs of RAM to run smoothly. It’s time to get that DirectX10 compatible GPU. And the circle starts again. Just once I'd like to be caught up with the Joneses and have a top system NOW when it's most needed.

» Amen, Brotha
Make sure you get a nice case, cuz you're going to swap out everything else over and over.
