After looking at Foxconn's products, I could tell by the array of different images their products bear, that tell they might be looking for something more uniform. Something constant. And after seeing the retail box of their new DirectX 10 cards, I felt I had to give it a facelift. While shopping, many hardcore users who'll drop $500+ for one of these cards might overlook Foxconn's current design for a card whose appearance relates a bit more to themselves. Something a bit more serious. Something a bit more hardcore.

So this entry is actually a poster, but its sole purpose is to show off the product. With this in mind, I didn't want a bunch of text surrounding it, so I thought simply "More" eluded to the "The Art of More" slogan and offered a little freshness to what could possibly be a new ad campaign.

Anyway, this is my creation. Serious, hardcore, and I feel it totally fits among the more attractive retail boxes for today's graphics cards.

I really like this design.
Reminds me of the hyperspace screen saver. http://www.reallyslick.com/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/rssavers

Very nicely pasted pieced together, and extremely glad to see someone did almost all sides of the box, like guerrillax3 (his is almost too simple, and the company name isn't pronounced enough in it). When I first read this design contest I had something very similar to your's in mind for a box.

On the poster side I was thinking of a Michelangelo rendered in Poser, then piecing it together with Photoshop and other 3D software; As he "carves" FOXCONN's name, and products in white marble (like his David statue) using an M4A1 carbine as if you were in a FPS view style watching him. Mainly had this idea because there other graphics seem to follow "art" forms, such as native american, and abstract contemporaries:

You know, sort of bringing together both the "ART" of more, and gamer's hard-core side, but since I don't have such software, or other capable components, it will remain as an idea/concept drawn on paper... (I'm giving it up people, someone run with it!)

I didn't want to enter this because I've done a lot of packaging professionally... and if this company is actually going to use a design from here, I'd say this is really the only pro-grade design. it could be a bit more lean, but it's well-done and ready to go.

(I think your gonna win lol)
Its very clean,
btw, did you make the box in 2d/photoshop and distort it into a box or did you make it in Photoshop and then make a box in 3dsmax/softimage/etc and skin it?

I think PS2Fish just created all the 6 sides to the box, and just did a bunch of distorts and skews on each of them and put them together in a realistic way - no 3D rendering software needed.

Well, Eddie. If you happen to win I'll buy one just for the box. The video card would be extra. :)
