OverClocking Guide Contest Rules (3 comments ) by: CanadaDave (303) | Posted in cluster AMD Contest Group Posted 57 months ago ( edited 57 months ago ) in category DEFAULT In this contest, we're asking you, our readers, to produce an overclocking guide for any AMD product. Use images and video as appropriate to support the guide you're creating.
Note - Only AMD products (including ATI video adapters) are eligible for this contest.
The two best entries from the open round will receive a new AMD processor, along with a new motherboard and memory to go along with it. These two winners will then write a review of their new hardware, a component of which will be an overclocking guide specific to that hardware.
Our grand prize will be announced later in the contest.
Due to the nature of this hardware and the difficulties in shipping overseas within a timely manner, only North American entries (US, Canada and Mexico) are eligible for entry.
Timeline:
August 27th - September 10th - Open round of contest.
September 11th-12th - Entries are judged by FiringSquad Staff.
September 12th-19th - Hardware shipped to two finalists.
September 20th - 30th - Final Round.
October 2nd - Winner is announced.
Scoring:
20% of score is from user Matrix voting.
80% of score from FiringSquad judges. Equal weight will be given to
technical content, accuracy and clarity of information, writing
proficiency, and overall flow of the article. |
