First of all, I'd would like to thank AMD, Gigabyte, OCZ and FiringSquad for the opportunity to participate in this competition and to overclock some excellent hardware.

For the result as posted, the setup was

AMD X3 720 BE
Gigabyte UD5P 790FX
2x2 GB OCZ AMD Edition DDR3 1600 7-7-7
7800 GT
40 GB WD IDE HDD
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W Crossfire edition
K1ngp1n Cooling Dragon F1 EE

First result was done on a modded Prometia mach1, second done on about 5L LN2. Not sure the second result is valid as I forgot to save a validation, still kicking myself for forgetting. Not really proud of the second result, looking forward to picking up more LN2 for some 6+ GHz action ;)

Overall, I was really happy with the performance of the Gigabyte board. It's built like a tank and took all the abuse I could throw at it. After the LN2 run the board was covered in water and two ram slots filled with ice, still runs perfectly though.

Memory clocked nicely in my limited testing, ran into some IMC limitations though.

The X3 720BE provides an excellent value at roughly $100 for a 3 (sometimes 4) core AM3 CPU. There's nothing like watching a CPU run at -190C, Intel chips certainly do that.

I look forward to seeing the rest of the results :)

Holy crap, you got my beat. I can't compete with that on air.
