Obvious example of view distance differences

Here's a very obvious example of the view distance differences at Ultra High and Very Low. Also note the detail level of the foliage and the shadows on the character model.

I'm obviously biased, but I think this is the best shot in the contest so far. I did a lot of searching for the right location. Does anyone know where I am?

It's exactly what I've found from playing this game for a few months. I've recently upgraded so it's acceptable on both computers, but previously I had to run one on medium to high and the other pretty much on low. It was like playing two completely different games. Proof that graphics can and sometimes do affect game play. Both can be pretty important.

Very nice, exactly what I was thinking. The tree detail is also much more detailed.

On the left it looks like you're looking over an ocean, yet on the right it's just a small lake... mind boggling!
