Replaced the cooler with a CM V10 and managed 3917.57mhz. My Super Pi 8mb score was actually slower than at 3817mhz. Windows crashed right after I saved a screen shot so instability was probably the cause of the slower score.

The core voltage was also fluctuating as can be seen by the lower voltage on my validation link. It was actually set at 1.425 in the bios.
I hope this is ok because I really doubt I'll be able to reach this OC again. Not sure if this was caused by the board or power supply.

My setup was:

- Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
- AMD X3-720 BE
- 2x2 GB OCZ AMD Edition DDR3 1600 7-7-7
- Cooler Master V10 CPU cooler
- Seagate 7200.11 500 GB hard drive
- Ultra X3 800W power supply

I appreciated AMD, Gigabyte, and OCZ supplying us with these components and giving us the chance to see what we could do with them.

I got it to boot into Windows at 3917mhz(19.5x multiplier)once but got a BSOD halfway through my Super Pi 8MB run.

Well it took a few tries but I finally got it :)

Nice result, that's only a few MHz lower than I pushed on air, I got one or two runs off at 3847.

Not much of a surprise though, our chips have very similar batch numbers. Solid efficiency as well, almost dead even with my LN2 result in terms of efficiency.

First of all, kudos to you Deux for your awesome clocks. I also think I pushed high 3.9's on air (coolermaster hyper tx2). Secondly, nice work Slugbug!

Like slugbug, I don't have anything fancy as far as cooling solutions go, but we'll see if I can't pull something out of my hat!

Stay tuned folks...it should be good, er, at least funny ;)
