I just wanted to send everyone an update on old #3! She has found her new home and is living happily running all my games at blazing fast speeds. I have the system all setup… running a 3 disk RAID 0 (have an external drive for regularly scheduled backups). I have a 22” Samsung Widescreen and I gotta say… the visuals are amazing! With the power this thing has though… I’m thinking about upgrading to a 24” or maybe even a 30”.

I started gaming way back with the likes of Might and Magic (I) when a good portion of the adventure had to take place in your mind. Over time, pc’s have become more powerful and the visuals that are translated on the screen have become more detailed. My 25 words were based on this. I have to say… the first time I loaded LOTR-Online in DX10 and saw the moonlight casting shadows from the leaves on my cloak… blowing lightly in the breeze… I realized that I have arrived. Oh… and COD 4 with everything maxed… is AMAZING!

I just want to thank Firingsquad again for this incredible opportunity! I have always dreamed of a true “power-gaming” system, but like many of your readers, would never have been able to actually own one.
