Enjoy the first episode of "Life After DirectX 11," a show dedicated to the new technology. In this episode we visit with Gordon Freeman and Nigel Tuffnel, lead guitarist of heavy metal sensation Spinal Tap, and get their thoughts on life after DirectX 11.

Side note: this took me awhile to pull together--on the Spinal Tap clip, the amp was edited frame by frame to make it look like a 5800 series card. 4 seconds or so * 30 fps = ~120 individual frames. It was totally worth it though!

Thanks--I have to give credit to Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro and the rest of the Creative Suite for allowing me to dabble in this kind of video editing. Seeing the volume knob animation come to life was especially rewarding.
