| Damn! I saw you last night on the list, But I couldn't find Mr. Welder (who asked me if I was an elite player right in the middle of about 7 of those fireball / dragon thingies...whatever). I haven't gone elite yet, but am happy to sign on for what little services I can provide.
Right now, I'm one demon essence short of going after Moulach (whatever his name is). Man, those thing are hard to come by. I've already kidded Ash, like, 5 times. See you tonight. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Not only that, the last multi-player update is giving a lot of people video black-outs (black screen) during the game. Using the TM to close out and then restarting the game actually gave me a BSOD in Vista- a first.
Too bad. I loved this game and I was going to subscribe. Oh well. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Like 'Sins of a Solar Empire'? (lol) Saw you in the other thread. I play G.C.II, and my games last well over 3 hours, so I think I'll set my copy of 'Sins' aside until 'Hellgate' has run it's course (but that could be quit some time). Flag this | Edit this post |

| Without a doubt. I've sucked quite a few of my workmates into this game and, to a man, it's become their new obsession.
Multi player is now what it should have been when it fist came out, but single player is still a patch away from trouble-free play (at least in Nightmare mode). Flag this | Edit this post |

| More? Not hardly...you're just more vocal as in WHAA... I-can't-get-my-way vocal.
Now, quickly, pull J.W.B.'s member out before he shoves it in so deep it will block your neurons from relaying electrical impulses in your brain. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I've been through that era as well. Even then, I've always been lazy so I start with a good motherboard with lot's of headroom and midrange components. Over several years, I may put in a faster processor and graphics card, but have no desire to be on the cutting edge.
I've always been drawn to the versatility and diversity that is PC gaming. I don't see that changing any time soon. Flag this | Edit this post |

| What are you smoking?
- Probably 90% of games made for the PC in the last 9 or 10 years can still be played on the PC today
- 'Used' games? I've seen what 'used' games look like. In my experience, they work as advertised about 60% of the time. I'll wait for sales or the inevitable price-drop for games that aren't current anymore.
- Driver updates, etc...? Now you sound like my 74-year-old mother-in-law. Learn how- it's REAL easy!
- I may give you the comfort argument, but I like a good chair better. That- and, for me, the mouse-keyboard is far more comfortable over long periods than a control pad.
- Price premium? Annual upgrades? Why? A little research before buying or putting together a PC will take care of that.
Consoles have come far, but not far enough to replace the PC...yet. Flag this | Edit this post |
