| Dead rising...hmm a boring zombie game, I think I'll have to say no. DOA XTREME...a mediocre fighter that makes up for it with videogame girls, I'll pass. GoW has good single player, great graphics ofc, but I'll play only once through the short campaign, after that I'll never play it again...the same goes for Lost Planet.
I prefer games with replayability and I'm definitely not a fanboy. The wii is the only Nintendo product I've owned, but I am a fan of their strategy. I've already tried going for technology with the original xbox, but the vastly inferior PS2 ended up dominating that generation.
I'll admit the motion sensitive controller is a gimmick, but a good gimmick. There will definitely be games that make great use of it over the next year and there will also be traditional games using the classic controllers that will be really good as well.
Once more of the flagship Nintendo products come out the doubters will realize more of the potential of the system. And yea the graphics are bad, and the online gaming is nonexistant so far, but that's why its a console lol. I won't waste anymore time explaining why Nintendo's strategy is so successful cus I can just point to the sales to make my point.
The 360 will make a good comeback with Halo 3, but after that it will finish a distant 2nd behind the wii. And a smart executive for Sony should probably cancel the PS3 over the next couple years because it is that much of a failure. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't understand the comments complaining about the wii. The console is bringing innovation back to a stagnant videogame market. Personally, I'm pretty tired of WWII FPS game number 20 and consoles with only a couple good games. Look at the xbox 360, the only good game is gonna be Halo 3 unless you love every Madden rehash. If I want good graphics and games for the so-called 'hardcore gamer' I'll find them on a PC.
The best part of consoles to me is their offline multiplayer where you play with your friends or the occasional RPG. Anyways, the wii is gonna dominate, I'm making plenty of money off Nintendo's stock while the PS3 is going to fail in a year and the 360 will just have Halo fans to keep it going. | I think this article completely misses the point of basic economics...um let's see when everyone can afford both HDTV's and $5-600 consoles then PS3 wins??
The Nintendo is going to dominate the console gaming market from worst to first. I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, in fact I've never bought a Nintendo product in my life yet this system interests me (and yes I'm a gaming enthusiast). I'm sick of the lame repeats of original titles, GTA4, MGS4, Halo3, give me a break. These titles although popular are not going to determine much when this is over. My prediction: #1 Nintendo, #2 360, #3 PS3 Flag this | Edit this post |
