| TakeTwo has been having a tough time of it. I don't get the feeling they're a well-run machine, at all. a little over a year ago, they offered me a job at just over half the market rate, which was kind of an insult... they said they were really desperate to get me in there, but didn't have the budget, and would try and figure something else out. after I interviewed, they told me that before they made me an offer, I should know that their budget was closer to 1/3 market rate, basically too low to live on.
I know EA has similar issues (they force OT out of people for free, sometimes as much as double work hours), but come on... Flag this | Edit this post |

| wow, that would be pretty esoteric, but I wouldn't put it past LotR-heads... there are some hardcore people in the game.

| | seriously, the better it is, the lower it goes, because people see it as a threat and give it a 1. just watch the math of it... as soon as your entry gets a lead, it gets tagged, and you can easily see how low of a vote it got. I do not mind if someone gives me a 4 or something if they do not like it, but I get lots of 1 votes. just look at my video editor entry, almost half my votes are 1`s Flag this | Edit this post |

| | yeah, I've rated everything 5-10. my avg rating is prolly 7.5, which is higher than any aggregate atm. I'm sure if there were nothing at stake (and people were still posting these, for some reason!) then we'd see lots of 8's and 9's. Flag this | Edit this post |
