| | Certainly this game is not for everyone... but for those that enjoy a good strategy game this is truly one of the best games out there. I don't have any long load time issues; but I am running with 1gb of ram and a P4 3Ghz (though its an old 3Ghz running on an 865 MB) Flag this | Edit this post |

I didn't expect to finish so low after reading the author's comments, but will take their advice and hope to improve in the second prelim.

| There is no battle interface... you usually just watch them fight on the main map screen. At times you get a pop-up that shows a balance arrow that moves.

I picked this game precisely because it was not a popular game; why review something everyone would be reviewing?
I do appreciate the comments about the length... though this game fairly simple. There are no decisions for you to make about economy, diplomacy or other such things. YOu are limited to determining how to best mix your troops and commanders in order to proceed.
This game is one that is difficult to rate... when you want a complex simulation this one falls short, but when you want a simple game that still has subtle nuances to master it is very good. In that respect it is a game like Go... very simple, but very difficult to master. Flag this | Edit this post |
