| | It definitely helps to release multi-platform to increase sales numbers. But instead of the 360, why not suggest the wii? With it being the fastest growing market segment with a large number of non-hardcore gamers, I feel that the FF series would really appeal to these people. Whereas all my friends that own 360's are more interested in games like Halo 3 and Madden 08 :\ Flag this | Edit this post |

| I have about 10 friends looking to get one. Outside of my own circle, there are a number of people my friends know that are looking. (that I do not know, nor do I know how many) To give you an idea, it's not unheard of for people to camp out in front of Walmart or Target for shipments of the system. So, in Tucson there is definately a huge demand for the system. I can't speak for other cities or states, but I would imagine it's the same there.
btw, I know Nintendo has done some weird things in the past (Sony and Microsoft have been just as heinous as Nintendo)... however, I suspect that this is innocent. They make profit from each system sold and any games bought for it, so if the retailers were paying Nintendo off it would likely have to be a very large figure (of which doesn't make much sense, from a cost/profit standpoint)
In fact, now that I read it I think Scooter is right on the money (posted below) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Re asdfqwerty:
You need to study history a bit more dude. As pretty much everyone here has told you, you are incorrect in your beliefs that America has lost most of its wars.
Let me ask you, you said america is losing to rag-tag fighters... what is the kill/death ratio of american soldiers vs "rag tag's"? It's definately higher than 1:1, at least being 5:1 or 10:1. If you have proof otherwise, please post it. Else, you are deluding yourself. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Uh, I guess you never tried the Multiplayer for it. That was absolutely horrible! And I still didn't care for how laggy it was on a high-end system at the time. Considering that my PC was 2-3x more powerful than the Xbox, that's just sad... Flag this | Edit this post |

| I remember watching ST:TNG and fantasizing about Troy, Crusher, and Tasha Yar :D Course, I was in middle school at the time...
I still think that Crusher was hot at the time :) Less so on Troy and Yar, especially after seeing some of their pr0n ;) Flag this | Edit this post |

| ?? How so? I thought that the formula worked off of the number of people that do buy an item opposed to the number that could...
granted, I assume it functions differently as a formula than the weapons, as you can only have 1 main gun and a sidearm, whereas the grenades are optional... Flag this | Edit this post |

| When compared to some of the books, the Clone Wars cartoon wasn't terribly overdone (though there were bits); I was actually really disappointed that Anakin was actually quite a wuss compared to what I thought he should be (most powerful force user? whaaaat?!)
Still, the swordplay in the final fight (ep3) was still OK. Not quite as good as Darth Maul was though, imho. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | ... not the best comparative example, imho. More to say that, dispite that the Wii *is* faster than the GC, it's not at the same level as the PS3 and X360. But that's ok because I'm more interested in the controller than the graphics :D Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Though the system is simpler to manufacture than the PS3 and X360, that doesn't mean that they can just switch from GC manufacturing straight to Wii :) The Wii *is* actually a new system, dispite the fact that it is only slightly graphically superior to the GC. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | That seems to be the case amongst the wealthy/influential... the middle class and below were kinda stuck either dodging the draft and moving to canada, or going and being stuck there. And apparently, dodging the draft can *still* come back and bite you in the arse! Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't want the AWP to be taken out, but they sure as hell do need to make it the most expensive weapon; a close second are the autosnipers, and from there just minor changes to everything else.
The AWP would be much less powerful if it was bolt action with a single shot chamber. Having to actually reload after every shot would force people to use it to snipe, not take out an entire team! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Keep an eye at your local Gamestop; they usually are able to show inventory on games for all the other local stores, and you'd be surprised to find out that there are copies around (just usally require some driving to get)
I never did finish the first one; it certainly wasn't that the game was boring (hardly!), but that there is *so* much to do that I get bogged down in trying to get my characters to level 100+ at the beginning of the game. lol. But I am definately looking forward to #2
As for the new Xenosaga... I loved Xenogears. One of my favorite games of all time. But none of the Xenosaga-series of games have produced the same kind of interest or fun. Possibly due to Namco being the big hand now instead of Square (as they were on Xenogears), but whatever the reason the games just haven't been very fun. I usually force myself to get at least halfway through them, but I can only take it for so long... :'( Flag this | Edit this post |
