The question is: Do I really want a Blu-Ray player when all I really want to do is play PS3 games? What if the movies I like comes out on HD-DVD and not Blu-Ray? Why is Sony forcing us to have Blu-Ray by including it Playstation, which is really meant for playing games.

that's exactly what i've been saying for months! anybody remembers rumors from an interview back in april about how PS3 will cost 500 to 600 euros? Well gee. I wonder how much PS3 is going to cost now? Oh wait a min. They're going to release it for $500 to $600! woudl anybody think that is surprising? and the answer is "no".
