But seriously, when are people going to understand that when kids are f'ed up, they're f'ed up to begin with. Why is it that our society is always trying to look for some sort of external excuse first rather than doing their own research on the aggressor? This reminds me of that article in Penny Arcade about that kid who beat up a homeless guy and blamed it on games (see link). A person wrote a letter and basically said that the kid had serious issues and had nothing to do with video games, yet the media took that as a scapegoat.

| Nice review. Although I think it would have been better if you included some comparison to the other racing wheels like Logitech's G25. Of course, I would understand that not everyone would have the luxury of owning several wheels.
Personally, I'm already anxious for the Forza2 release. I hope MS would release a special Racing Wheel with the FM2 in the package instead of PGR3. I would definitely pick that up. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Please tell me you are not kidding. Increase in compression is proportional to CPU power. Yes, that's true but you never mentioned at what magnitude. We are talking about image stills here, not H.264. Please, if you're trying to reach for some excuse, try not to skew the facts.

Why don't you just tell everybody to stop whatever we are doing to forward our technology. Gee, BMPs are soo awesome everybody is using it. Oh wait a min, almost all our cameras use JPG. Well duh! They're not exactly in the business for fun. Why do you think they're calling out piracy? From their point of view, there's not enough PC game sales to justify their investment. You can see that for yourself if you're paying attention to the "Top 10 games sold this month" articles.
And just because they're moving to the console platform doesn't mean free money to them. It's an increase in development costs, and it's not even a guarantee it will sell enough games to recoup their costs. Flag this | Edit this post |
