| I think this highlights why gaming is in such a hole right now.
Stalin vs Martians on FS:
"ZOMG GAY!11one This will suck teh cox!!11!"
As opposed to a site such as RPS (Rockpapershotgun.com):
"Stalin... versus... martians? FUCKING AWESOME. /Let's wait and see if it will be as good as it sounds./"
All you negative gob shites are ruining the world. Wait for a demo then mouth off, retards. Flag this | Edit this post |

| It's not entirely their fault. Until a R 18+ rating is introduced they have no choice but to ban it.
BUT!
That said, they could easily use the same logic to ban a multitude of games by those criteria, and dont.
The way they reach their decision isnt the issue this time though, the fact that they cant do their job properly due to inadequate laws IS. We need R 18+ to fix it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Possibly the most pointless retail release EVER. Nobody in their right mind would pass up the Orange Box for these games separately.
The only thing I can think of is they regret the slightly crappy box art, but thats about it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The only issue I see is that we (PC players) will be inevitably stuck with Xbox Live multiplayer requirements that will basically wang any longevity the game could have had.
I'll say it again, like I do every game, just integrate with Steam and stop mucking around! Flag this | Edit this post |

| We get the US Fox News channel here on cable in Australia (dont know why, its not like FNC recognises the existance of anything outside of North America, except teh Terraistz sappin mah Democracy1!!) and we all just watch it for comedy value.
Then that pompos O'Reilly bloke comes on and we just switch channels. He's just an ass. Flag this | Edit this post |

| And this is why some buy OEM software whenever possible, can you imagine dropping $600+ for a full featured OS that is basically abandoned within 3 years?
I'd rather save some pennies and just limit myself to one PC with the risk of re-install errors later on. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't seen Microsofts format neutrality as a particularly smart move. If they had put a HD drive in 360 from day one it still would have sold to enough people to give it a total victory before BlueRay took off. Remember the basketcase the PS3 was up until only a few months ago?
Even now, there are more PS3s than there are Bluray players. Imagine if all the 360s had had HD drives from day dot?
HD's days are now basically numbered due to Microsofts inactivity, and it would seem thats what they wanted all along. Microsoft want a slice of the digital distribution of movies through their XBOX services. They dont seem to understand NOBODY is interested in owning a movie without a nice small box.
Bluray wins by accident.
I should note that I supported HD, I believe it was a superior technology, even recognising its disc size limitations.
I might buy a Blueray player in 12 months when HD is officially dead and the prices are more sensible. Actually I might still just get a PS3 purely for movies. Flag this | Edit this post |

| "A local spokesman for the US-based Westaff recruitment firm said it was "misleading" to say the company had banned Santa's traditional greeting and it was being left up to the discretion of the individual Santa himself."
BS. You reckon they didn't get threatened with dismissal if they didn't do as they were told?
Politically correct people should be f*cked and burned. Flag this | Edit this post |
