| as if this is the first time this has happened.....remember on the original intro to street fighter 2 for arcade, the white guy would knock out the dark skinned black guy?? then they released updates that lightened the black guys skin, twice if I recall.....

a ld player played laserdiscs and once the cd format was widespread, later models could play cds.
an hd dvd player plays hd dvd, most if not all upconvert sd dvds to "hd upscale", audio cds etc etc
so I gotta agree with an hd dvd player not being a "bad" purchase per se.
take my situation, paid 179.99 for the 360 hd player, got 7 hd dvds free and a $50 gift card for amazon now.....cant say thats a bad deal in the end. Flag this | Edit this post |
