| | As usual, more financial "experts" throwing darts and hoping one will hit the target. In other words, complete and utter speculative nonsense. I really, really wish I get paid for making stuff up but I wasn't smart enough. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Jeebus, this article was a complete waste of time. Really, is it that hard to build a PC when the object of money is taken out, other than your own lack of planning to get the thing assembled and working? Flag this | Edit this post |

| You aren't some tree hugging, religious fanatic, are you? Have you not seen the picture of Eswardo Ramclaim? The po'lice got rid of a monstrosity and made the streets safer for you and yo' moms. Get with the program! That's why you're paying taxes!
68 times. Yeah, well. It's not like they could nuke from orbit. 68 times... they had to be sure. Flag this | Edit this post |

| That was the whole freakin' point. I made my post in such a way as to be absurb and/or inflammatory in response to the way in which Pungkas Nataatmaja made the news item about the Mexican fishermen. I am neither uptight nor a PC policeman. I don't give a hoot about Mexicans, fishermen, Pungkas Nataatmaja, nor you for that matter. Hohoho.
But I repeat, what exactly does the burritos and fajitas have to do with the story? Would he have chosen the same two food items if the fishermen were Polish-men? Italian-men? African-men? Chinese-men? Or would he have chosen foods to match that particular ethnicity? In such a scenario, if the author is not being racist, he is at worse being stereotypical, and worser, being an idiot for including filler that does not add to the story item. He is, if I'm not mistaken, reporting the news, right? Then report, don't comment. Maybe I'm the one who's crazy and confused. Hohohoho. Flag this | Edit this post |

| How can you be so sure that all Mexicans eat burritos and/or fajitas on a regular basis? And actually, what kind of name is "Pungkas Nataatmaja", anyway? What ethnicity are you? What foods do you eat everyday? If you were stranded out at sea for nine months, do you think you can go back to eating what "Pungkas Nataatmaja" normallly eats after having eaten raw marine birds for the duration?
Enquiring mind wants to know.
This post is aka "what kind of stupid comment about Mexicans and burritos and fajitas was that about?" Flag this | Edit this post |

| On a related note, I've always been frustrated with FiringSquad's benchmarks because not enough detail of the game being benchmarked is ever revealed. Other than resolution and AA/AF setting, it's impossible to know how my PC, for instance, compares to the benchmarks shown by FiringSquad. Would it hurt so much to list exactly what/where is being benchmarked? Is there a well-known benchmark for a particular game out there that the general public could also use so that comparisons between a user's PC can be made with that of what FiringSquad is showing? TELL US.
Otherwise, I find it difficult to use FiringSquad's benchmakrs to make viable buying decisions. Okay, you're showing that Game X is achieving 75 FPS at 1600x1200 with AA/AF on. But where exactly in the game was this achieved? At the logo? Beats me... I always have to wonder. I do not have the option to replicate/verify/compare a FiringSquad benchmark result with tests of my own because not enough detail of where in the game the benchmark is taking place is revealed.
