| People in their 20's the first group to grow up with home game systems? You forgot about Pong, Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision..
Games are a different culture now. Games were only for kids twenty years ago. Now parents are likely to play right along side their kids, which makes the price a bit more justifiable, IMO.
But $600 bucks when the 360 will be $300 is going to be a tough sell to the fringe gamer. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't see how this is a Peter and the wolf thing. Sony has completely BOTCHED the rollout of bluray. Pure and simple. The players are 2x as much as HD-DVD, the movies aren't any better, and they haven't found a way to manufacture the 50g discs, so they hold LESS space than their HD-DVD counterparts.
