Best Buy now wants 100 bucks for a recovery CD for your computer. For my HP laptop I could get the recovery disk directly from then for nearly a quarter of the price.
Then after you spend 100 bucks to get this crap-ware loaded version of your OS, they try getting you to pay them 75 bucks to remove all the unnecessary crap from it!
After after all this, as soon as you try to head out the door, just being robbed 200 bucks on a 400 dollar computer that cost you 600 for shiny Intel sticker on it, they say "Oh, if that POS you just bought runs too slow, buy this card for 50 to improve your speeds"
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
All while your neighbor hood kid will build you the same system for nearly half the price with all the hacked software one could ever need. You just gotta hook him up with some free mountain dew and 50 bucks so he can buy some weed and ritalin (or whatever kids do these days).
It is in a big way technically. This kinda changed the search engine standard. In 5 years search engines that don't do this were feel ancient and outdated.
My comment was mostly on the lack of comments since it was posted lol.
I like how he mentions PC gamers being more dedicated. I do believe this hurts sales. StarCraft,WoW, Counter-Strike, Quake,Tribes, Worms, and the list goes on... People are still buying and playing games from 13 years ago!
Nintendo builds a culture like Apple does but the main difference is that they listen to their customers and be extremely innovative at the same time. Plus the cost factor helps them win most battles.
Ipad? tablet PCs have been around for years... and they can do more than one thing at a time.
