Kung Fu? That game is like 20 years old already! Besides, how is Asian people doing kung fu racist? They INVENTED it! It's part of their culture - why shouldn't they do it? Maybe we should never show Chinese people using chopsticks either, or else people will start to think that they actually use chopsticks. What? GASP! They do!

Games are behind the times? Yeah right. I don't remember games telling me that Tom Cruise was a samurai or that Brad Pitt was a Mexican.

Gimme a break. Games are the most color-blind entertainment medium. Gamers play as characters of all races without even considering what color skin they have. Show me ONE gamer who loved GTA3 and VC but wouldn't play SA because their character was black. And because we don't care about color, we aren't afraid to see characters, whether hero or villain, of any color. We don't have to condescendingly "sanitize" games by replacing every dark-skinned Islamofascist with a caucasian Neo Nazi.

PS - What does Warcraft 3 have to do with any of this? Yeah, TV and movies do a much better job dealing with anti-Daemon discrimination than gaming. WTF?

No way! Where am I going to get cheap, disposable coasters for free?

I don't understand why AOL would punish the only people loyal/stupid enough to pay them by making them use AOL's telephone customer service.

Wrong!

Youth violence is clearly caused by listening to race music, which angries up the blood with its pulsing, maddening rythymns.

Also, it makes them Communist!

Agreed. There's nothing "next-gen" about using a codec that's a decade old.

DVDs offered more advantages over VHS than BRD/HD-DVD do over DVD.

BluRay > DVD: Looks better, holds more data.

DVD > VHS: Looks better, holds more data, doesn't degrade over time, doesn't need to be rewound, instant access to any part of the video, drastically smaller size.

So if BC is done in hardware and not software, does that mean that old games won't be upconverted to 720p?

Also, if PS2 had the PS1 chip inside it to handle BC, does that mean the PS3 will have both the PS1 and PS2 chips inside?

Dude, when PS3 takes over the PC it will be great.

Forget hacks like Kojima or Insomniac -

Imagine what great new innovations will come from being able to use the Tilt controls in a spreadsheet!

Need to make your quarterly presentation to your investors? They'll be astounded and amazed as you control PowerPoint with a guitar!

Or the Eyetoy bundled with TurboTax - I can watch myself do my taxes! Awesome!
