| » So is this a FPRPG like Oblivion? Sounds cool, especially if they get the sailing part down right. Would be awesome if it was like Oblivion in terms of size and was as lush as Far Cry. Will definitely keep an eye out for it.

| » Looks like a great game, BUT . . . I'm not getting a PS3 and I know the games will cost something like $79.99 anyway. If it sells well it will become multi-platform so I'll get it for the PC for $29.99. Still, looks cool and would like to eventually play it.

| » I only run into those issues if I've left it on for greater than 24 hours. I have the stuttering problems only if I've left the game running for greater than 24 hours. Instead of stopping the game, I'll pause and Alt-Tab to the desktop to do other things and then return to the game at a later time (don't like all of the enemy re-spawn if I quit and then come back to the game.) I find that if I have a lot of background processes running and then return to the game it gets choppy. Otherwise all is fine. I also noticed that after defrag of ye olde hard drive that my performance greatly improved. You might want to try that.
Also, I'm running the 91.33 drivers from Nvidia and it all seems pretty silky smooth to me on a Geforce 6800 Go, 2 GB Ram, P4 560 with HT enabled, two 60 GB HD in Raid 0, and Realtek 5.1 sound through SPDIF. I have all of the settings at max with AA on via the game options, Turned off V-Sync, Image settings are at High Performance, and the resolution is 1024 x 768.
Try my settings and see if they improve the game for you.

| » Man you got ripped! I have owned every console since the Atari 2600 and NEVER paid $79.00 for an N64 game. Where were you where the prices were so high and what game(s) came out at that price? Was it an import? Those do cost an arm and a leg if you go to the wrong import sites.
Maybe I just got lucky at Wal-Mart and EB.

P.S. If Sony really charges anything higher than $59.99 they are going to be in for a world of hurt. I can see third party companies jumping ship in droves. I guess they are now as arrogant as Nintendo was when the original PS launched. I personally think that $59.99 is too high, thanks but no thanks, I'll stick with my PC games and just rent console games that look cool like I've been doing since the NES days. | » Hell Ya It Will Be! I can't wait for this; especially with quad SLI DX10 cards . . . OMG! To all those people who were saying that consoles are more powerful than PCs "in the next generation" . . . eff you. In the not too distant future I smell dual quad-core CPU and maybe even a higher than quad SLI solution coming. CANNOT WAIT!
Problem, where am I gonna get that cash for that beast???

However, the reporter pulled a "Hannity and Colmes" and acted totally unprofessionally. It doesn’t matter how you personally feel in an interview, you HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS!
On top of that, neither one of them acted like Christians. True Christians, which are mythical creatures at best, are supposed to have transcended their animal like reflexes. Obviously neither of these two has as they were insulting, damning each other to hell, and basically calling each other false Christians. If either of them were truly Christ-like they would have turned the other cheek and loved thy neighbor, so much for following the true teachings of Christ.
The reporter should be fired for her lack of professionalism and the fanatic shouldn't be given the opportunity to pollute the airwaves anymore.
