| | No need to upgrade your hardware and it plays fine, virtually anyone with a PC can play it. Multiplayer is excellent. The game is deep. Lots of great mods and maps. Blizzard still providing support for it. They're not crazy about FPSes like those of us living in the West. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I like your article. It flows well and is very easy to read while being interesting.
But I feel that you haven't brought out the potential that's there. It didn't really convince me that you're right about your thesis, that new hardware doesn't equal enjoyment.
More concrete examples would really help here. If this was an article on Firingsquad, then they'd definitely bring a ton of examples of games that DO bring out enjoyment through hardware, and games that have little to do with the hardware they're played on. I think you could easily do this.
Add and revise if you can, I'd like to see it, at least. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This article has potential, but it needs to be fleshed out. If you look closely at firingsquad's and anandtech's hardware articles, you'll see that they're written for the lowest common denominator of readership that visits their site.
Dumbing things down is important, don't make assumptions about your readership.
What is the significance of GPGPU to your reader? Keep this at the forefront of your mind while you write this article.
You can still revise and repost it. I'd be glad to re-vote then. Flag this | Edit this post |
