| | It is ridiculous that they're still selling Core units. Unlike the PS3, which is crippled by the Blu-Ray drive's slow read speed, developers would have been able to put a standard 360 hard drive to good use. Such a waste. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Someone did a statistical analysis of thousands of game reviews and found that the average score given to a game is about 70%. Which is fine if you're in grade school. But technically 5/10 should be an average score.
Ideally there wouldn't be any scores associated with reviews. Although I doubt that would ever happen on a large scale. People should at least restrict themselves to a 4 or 5 point scale. When you give a game a 100/100 it implies that the game is perfect. Which is impossible. But giving something a 5/5 doesn't imply that. It merely expresses your enthusiastic approval of the game. | Halo 3 has nothing to do with this box office slump. How many copies of Halo 3 have sold? A few million? Which is about 1% of the population of the United States.
This slump is the direct result of a dearth of good movies. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Well, if you remember, all of the Sony apologists were predicting that the demand for the Wii would die down shortly after all of the holiday and "fad" buyers got their hands on one. But now it's looking like supply won't outstrip demand until the middle of next year. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I like it when people(read: froggz) make broad generalizations using second-hand knowledge. The Wii has been out less then a month. The games available are not representative of the games that have yet to be released.
The current flagship game, Twilight Princess, is a Gamecube game. Of course the graphics are going to look like Gamecube-quality graphics. And it is proof that traditional games will work just fine on the Wii. A couple hours into the game I forgot I was even using a new controller. And as I go back and re-play Wind Waker I wish I could use the Wii Remote and nunchuck.
And froggz, making fun of the Virtual Console? Who cares if the games are old, they're still fun. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't use the strap and I have not once dropped the Wii Remote playing Wii sports. Sure your pitches go faster the harder you "throw", but there is a maximum pitching speed and it's not hard to reach. The trick is to use quicker movements, not more forcefull movements. | | If these girl gamers would just shut up and play, and play well, people would stop caring about an individual's sex. But instead they announce to everyone that they have tits and then they expect us not to notice them. Typical female logic from typical female attention whores. Flag this | Edit this post |
