| | The animation is the same type use in the Robert Zimmeckis film, "The Polar Express" in which the actors do the old video game style 'blue screen with blue suit covered in foam balls'. The take all the expressions and what-not and animate over it. It wasn't refined in, "The Polar Express" but it looks damn good in this film. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Keep in mind, though, that Siskel and Ebert were best friends for a long time. All their on screen arguing and insulting was just a couple of good friends bustin' balls.
I find it freaky that Siskel died of cancer then Ebert got cancer and has been on the verge of death from it for a while. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Za? Since when was 1-18-08, "...the only one people stick with..."? The working print name is, and always has been, Cloverfield. There's no reason to call it anything but that until the official title is released.
I really don't see what the confusion over the name is. A ton of movies have a working title until its title is officially announced. Flag this | Edit this post |

| It's so funny that people are going so crazy over the teaser (there is no trailer, btw). Like, there's never been scary/monster movies before?
Anyway, you can watch the teaser on YouTube. There's been a million entries of it that have all been taken down (there must be a hell of a team going around forcing every site to take the teaser down since it's seemingly nowhere) but there's at least on still up. I know since I saw it there yesterday. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Jump the shark doesn't mean when a show lost all interest (plus, a show doesn't lose interest a person loses interest in a show). Jump the shark is a phrase to characterize the singular moment something so retarded/awful happened on a show that people unanimously said, "WTF was that?" and started to regard the show with less respect and/or started feeling the writers have officially run out of ideas and no longer know what the fuck they're doing.
Just so everyone knows that phrase while invented long LONG ago was popularized to what it is now (ever notice it just got super popular in the last couple years?) by Carson Daly. Do you want to repeate what Carson Daly says?
You fucking kids and your fad buzz words just piss everyone off "That was hella' cool!" Flag this | Edit this post |

| ^A lot of scientists do not think it's "bunk". Not all scientists agree on what's causing it but no scientists are saying it isn't happening. You yourself said that it has happened before, so how are you arguing it now? It's also weird that the majority of scientists related to this matter are saying it's real yet you angrily fight it - why? What are you gaining from this?
Once again: How old are you? Flag this | Edit this post |

| ^So you're one of the scientists? Really... how old are you? Why are you getting so mad at a topic that can't possibly hurt you for believing. "Turn off lights that aren't being used and don't drive your car when it isn't necessary." Say WHAT?! Turn my lights off when I'm not using them?! That's bullshit!!! Global warming is so phony and stupid I can't believe anyone would actually listen to this crap and turn their lights of when they aren't in need of them.
What do you have to lose by conserving energy? It's like people who are argue and argue against religion, you know, just in general (as opposed to any specific one). If you don't like it why are you arguing about it so much? Flag this | Edit this post |

| And American Idol is the number one show on T.V.. And so was BayWatch at one point and so was WWF. Michael Jackson was the number one musician at one point. Wal-Mart is the most shopped at store in the world. People buy countless numbers of tabloids. Millions of people smoke.
Point: When has 'large amounts of people' ever meant anything to anyone at the end of the day? Flag this | Edit this post |

| Umm, you realize there is not one single person in the science fields, involved in global environments and climate changes and what not, that claims global warming isn't happening, right? The argument is, "What exactly is causing it." Did you miss when even the U.N. acknowledged global warming.
How old are you? Fucking kids..... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Ah, another shining example of Conservative love and tolerance.
Wow, that was easy. It's almost as if any person from any place at any time can make a comment that is either positive or negative toward or against a person place or thing.
Kinda' makes arguing about subjectivity, you know... retarded. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I thought the reason that Beyonce didn't get an Oscar nod was that she isn't a great actress. She's just yet another musician (if that's what you want to call someone who has a producer create all the music) who's marketability allowed her to jump over the heads of every actor/actress who actually worked their way into acting. | Yeah, while I liked the first film for the most part it just ended without concluding jack shit. In fact I had this feeling right near the end like, "Okay, now some REAL shit's going to go down!" - then it ended.
It was like the first part of the cartoon Spawn movie. Over two hours later absolutely nothing was concluded and you had to wait many months for them to finally release the next part. Flag this | Edit this post |

| On a final note:
"When you live in a capitalistic society, the currency of the dissemination of information (or whatever else) goes through capitalistic channels. Would Noam Chomsky object to his works being sold at Barnes & Noble? No, because that's where people buy their books." ~Tom Morello Flag this | Edit this post |
