| I have an in-store pickup waiting for me at BestBuy that I think I'm going to cancel in favor of the Steam route -- I've had 0 trouble with it in that past. EDIT: oops, apparently it's Steam, too....crap.
It sounds like each time you install the game it decrements a counter, and each time you uninstall it it increments a counter. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think you guys are sort of missing the point. The point isn't exactly "why people have sex", but how different are the reasons for men to have sex vs. women. And the conclusion of the paper: not very.
(for those of you who didn't RTFA, 20 of the 25 top reasons were the same for both sexes) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Since someone obviously didn't RTFA, here's an excerpt:
It was not quite tennis elbow, he decided.
"The variant in this patient can be labeled more specifically as 'Wiiitis,'" Bonis, a family practice physician, wrote in a letter to the New England Journal of Medicine.
[/end]
As an aside to the FS editors, it seems that articles with ""s in the title aren't getting their tooltips outputted correctly in the sidebar dealie. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I was going to say I'm surprised that Blu-ray could "win" over HD-DVD given the cost of the players, but apparently they've come down since I last checked -- you can find a Blu-ray player for $499 on BestBuy and a HD-DVD player for $299 (on sale). Not as big a difference as I thought. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Emotionally charged zomg.
Well, the screenshots ARE pretty impressive, and having the option for a damage model would be cool (NFS: MW seems a little TOO arcadey sometimes -- 200 mph into a divider with no residual effects, anyone?). Interesting that they're including actual tracks now. Hopefully they keep actual roads...I'm sure they will though. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Well, if the ESRB is in charge of telling people if there's nudity in a game, then that's not really relevant.
But at the same time, saying "there's this one error that you can do in this one program that's bundled WITH the game that's not actually part of the game that *gasp* exposes the bare backside of a character" isn't really worthy of "partial nudity" I think.
Lastly...wtf, photograph? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Hardware support will most likely have caught up by the end of the year, and software support...well, as much as it can. When XP came out everyone was like "zomg don't upgrade if you're a gamer you can't play your games well anymore". Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I didn't like the Supreme Commander demo because it reminds me that my computer is getting old :P One of the very few games out there that the default settings (I didn't check to see if they were the lowest) aren't enough to get over 15 fps, heh. Flag this | Edit this post |
