When you have a brand as big as Playstation it takes a long time to win people over. Besides, MS usually takes a few attempts before it dominates a market. I think this time they'll be much closer in sales than last time.

I'm confused by Scott Miller's comment about Windows - It hasn't really been unstable since 98 / ME. I've got XP machines here that only get rebooted when there's updates to install.
I think that's actually the Nintendo advantage this time. Developers have been bitching about how much "next gen" costs to develop so they can put their money where their mouth is and make a few cheap games for the Nintendo with no problems can't they...
Umm... I'm not denying Halo has a lot of hype, this is obvious. But where in that article was the hype? Seems to me that they just said what some of the features would be.
