Yes, it was pre-rendered but at the time they said it was real-time. A lot can change between the hype and release. Oh, and yes I've played MGS3, but that doesn't mean 4 will be any good but it does mean I'm looking forward to it.
Maybe, but then so was KillTime. Time will tell, and cutscenes do not make a game. Realtime or not. (Disclaimer, yes buying PS3, when cheaper, for games like MGS4 - If good enough).
Just one point. Have we actually seen MGS4 gameplay yet? I've downloaded pretty much all of the videos and all I've seen so far is cutscenes. I think it's a little too early to say that it looks better than anything.
Interesting, if that's true I wonder if it's one of those surnames that were picked because of profession back in the day. If that's the case, I bet one of his ancestors has an interesting story. ;)
