| » Nonsense The PS3 launch titles don't look promising? Sure, I'll agree that Resistance is pretty mcuh the only exclusive that really looks great for us North Americans. But PS3 also has a full line of quality multi-platform titles at launch.
What exclusives does the 360 have this season? Gears of War and that's it. IMO, PS3 easily matches 360 in software this season while the PS2 and PSP have much better game lineups.
Overall, this is just another predictably anti-Sony article from a heavily biased and opinionated anti-Sony pro-360 pro-Wii site. Flag this | Edit this post |

No, you will need the cable (which is commonly found for $20). You'll also need a TV, electricity, and at least one working eye to view it. Jeez.
Video cards never come with video cables, printers usually don't come with cables, every other game console or DVD player I've owned comes with basic video cables and requires an extra purchase for the nicer stuff. Really, this isn't unexpected and it's not a big deal. I'd much rather get integrated Wi-Fi and free online and full backward compatibility than a $20 cable.
This site has already pronounced the PS3 as dead and has been bending over backwards to twist benign news items like this into new ways to blast Sony. Jeez!
I've read a million articles like this blasting Sony and the PS3 and Blu-Ray, and not one has had any merit. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Drop the venemous hateful politics! Since FiringSquad has already written off the PS3 as a complete failure (http://www.firingsquad.com/features/playstation_3_failure/), why bother with a countdown?
Seriously, every point in this article is outrageously biased. This article is dripping with anti-Sony hatred. Could you post any more of a venemous attack on all things Sony? Why don't you keep going and tell us how the PS3 is used to fund terrorism or tell us how all the people who work at Sony kill puppies or eat newborn infants at night?
Jeez guys, let up! You obviously like the 360 better and don't want the PS3 to win. Why don't you just say that and leave your mean-spirited roten politics out of it. Video games are supposed to be about having fun. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » You hate PS3 and Sony: we get it Firing Squad, we get the picture. You hate Sony, hate the PS3, hate Blu-Ray, hate the PS3 games, hate the Sony executives and PR people. And I've read this same "I hate Sony" E3 2006 post here before.
Whatever. I'm ready to preorder the $600 model.
Games: I loved PS2 because of the games! The PS2 has by far the best exclusive games: GTA3 (which is no longer exclusive), Harmonix music games, Ratchet And Clank, Jak & Daxter, Katamari Damacy, God of War, Gran Turismo, and others. Xbox and Gamecube didn't have anything near that good. Most of those PS2 developers have already announced PS3 titles. The only disappointment is the 2006 titles are limited and most of those won't come out until 2007.
Price: Many other consoles launched at $600 in 2006 dollars; this really isn't bad. Plus, you get way more with the $600 PS3. If you add 4 years of online gaming (included with PS3), the 360 price comes up to $600 and STILL doesn't include integrated WiFi, card reader, HDMI, tilt controller, 60GB HD, AND Blu-Ray. Even if you don't want Blu-Ray, there's a lot of extras there. For me, the PS3 is *cheaper* than the 360 (due to included online and wireless) *and* has more features. Easy choice.
I don't know why there is this huge anti-Sony hysteria going around, but I love what I see with PS3 and am ready to get one now. Flag this | Edit this post |
