| | You guys have it all wrong. It's not that we hate the PS3 and are biased against it. It's that we hate big fat liars and Sony just happens to be the very thing we hate. They lied about their PS2 , then they lied again about the Cell, then BRay, and of course the PS3. So you see, don't hate Firingsquad, they have never lied to you. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Britain is calling us an imperialistic power? Holy shit what a bunch of hipocrits. What? Did they forget about Ireland, Scotland, Hong Kong, Africa, China, Australia, USA, and God know how many other countries they tried to "civilized". Flag this | Edit this post |

| | This is why game companies don't give a crap about quality, because people like you. Too damn forgiving and tolerant. Thanks for the first impression preview, I will not be buying this game in it's current state. If a game company doesn't care about their customer than screw them, I'll buy their game after it's in the bargain bin when the sale of their game is irrelevant. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This poll was created to see if all the negative news posted against Sony and their PS3 in firingsquad is actually working. I'm going to say yes it's working.
Sony's prerendered videos showing is the culprit of all their bad publicity. They came out shouting and pounding their chest like a 800LB gorilla, but when it was time to show the true capabilties of the PS3 they looked like a 20-pound Japanese macaque.
But seriously though, screw Microsoft and Sony, I'm holding out for the Phantom console. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The surgeon defense was that he was drunk. The magistrate forgave the guy. So I take it drinking and driving in the UK is legal. Also pretty much any crime you do while you're drunk is legal, because according to the magistrate he was in a drunken delirious state. Jackassery, pure and unadulterated jackassery. | | The sad part about all this is that as horrible as all the crimes this guy did, there's a very healthy black market selling kids to these monsters. The slave trade is alive and thriving and this kind if shit is just the tip of the iceberg. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Kinda feel sorry for the guy and the cops. I know there's going to be a huge lawsuit coming. The Dolan guy was bitching about preferential treatment, but cops don't always throw people in jail, they actually give people a chance once in a while. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Here's the problem with these two HD formats. Some movies will come out on HD-DVD and others on Blu-ray. How does this benefit the consumer? What's the point in investing in either format when there's a good possibility that the format you choose will not have the latest and greatest movie a person wants to watch. Fucking stupid format war. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | You're assuming 360 owners will even want an HD-DVD drive. It's nice the option will be there, but the whole point of buying a console is to play games, not play movies. MS remember that and made the wise decision to release the 360 now rather than later with a lower price and a head start. Sony future proofing is fine and dandy, but that's only if they even make it past 3 years. It will all depend on how much they charge for the games. Personally, I don't have too much of a problem paying $600 for the PS3 (besides my wife kicking me in the balls once she finds out how much I payed), but I do have a problem paying $70 per game, which is highly likely this is how much it's going to cost. | | Gotta love the Aussies. These people are great. I dealt with some Autralian sailors before, awesome people, just stay away from them when they are drinking and never tell them you never throw up when you drink, they take that as a personal challenge. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | American Football is more popular than Soccer in the U.S. because it's more like a battle field. The USA is a nation born from war, and has prosper from war. The American people love the strategy and the battles that takes place on the football field. The coaches are like Generals, plotting and strategizing their offensive or defensive plans. True, soccer has some strategy to it, but nothing like Football. The offensive and defensive formations are endless not to mention the violence. Flag this | Edit this post |

| 1. You're comparing NK to USA? No comparison whatsoever. Even in the worst neighborhood in the US is better than the best in NK. Why? Because you can walk away from it, it's called freedom.
2. Riots in Oklahoma are just the people expressing themselves, even though it was a stupid way to do it, at least they have the freedom to do it. Try that in NK and your entire family would end up in a death camp.
3. The Nazi's where happy to exterminate the Jews during WW2. Why should any of us care or interfere? It's their country, right?
4. I bet you that the sanctions against NK haven't affected their ability to wage war. The military is being taken care of and I know the government is living the good life. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | From personal experience, the OS and the Software used is what ultimately makes the HTPC. Having the wrong software will make your experience a complete hell. The article should have least mentioned that. Also, I have to disagree with your choice of tuner card, the ATI HDTV card doesn't even support hardware encoding, a huge factor when choosing a TV card, especially when using Windows Media Center edition. I have a dual tuner Haupaugge card and an ATI HDTV wonder installed in my setup and I got so disgusted with the performance of the ATI card that I just disabled it. IT takes forever to tune in to a HD channel and it's very buggy. Just go to newegg and read the user reviews on this card, it is total crap. Flag this | Edit this post |
