| | I never liked the All in wonder line. Video cards and tuner cards should be seperate. The video graphic card market is so dynamic, that it always outpaces the tuner cards, so you're stuck without the tuner part if you ever have to upgrade. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | If this is true, I might just have to upgrade from my X1950. Then again, I haven't owned an Nvidia card for a long time, and it seems most of the games today have more support from Nvidia than Ati. So I might just go Nvidia this upgrade cycle. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Read the entire article...it's not just one incident:
"In March, one person was stabbed to death and at least seven others were hurt by a man who went on a slashing spree with two knives outside a shopping mall in eastern Japan. In January, a 16-year-old boy attacked five people in a shopping area, injuring two of them.
A spate of knife attacks also have occurred in schools, the worst on June 8, 2001 when a man with a history of mental illness burst into elementary school near Osaka killing eight children. He was executed in 2004." Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I'm playing the game with an AGP Radeon 1950 and a Dual core 6300 @ 1.86. Everything is set on high and seems to run fine. I did have to turn off the Depth of field since the 1950 is having problems rendering the lights without heavy pixelization. According to the readme file it supposed to be fixed on the next catalyst release. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Fair enough, and after thinking about it you're right. As a paying consumer we don't need to be treated like criminals. There has been a few time where I had to reinstall the software on different computers and having a limitation like this one would be a pain in the ass. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Screw that, buy the game and support Bioware. One of the few great RPG developers left. I'm grateful they ported the game over to the PC, which saves me from buying an XBOX-360.
What the hell are you doing anyways, how many computers do you need to install this game to? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | If anyone bought this game on the release date and they are already finished with the game, then it's obvious they spent way too much time playing the game. Any game you try to marathon through will make your opinion on how fun it is suffer. Too much of a good thing eventually starts sucking. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Wow, pretty harsh score at the end there. I would give it an 85% myself. This bring into question the low score Assasin's creed received. I put off into purchasing that game since my opinion of games used to be aligned with this site reviews, but after seeing this review, I'm not so sure any more.
IMO, if you played and liked the Gothic series, Baldurs Gate, Never Winter Nights 1&2, The Witcher, Fable, Two Worlds and Oblivion, then you'll like this game. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Holy shit history is repeating itself all over again. Does anyone remember the 3DFX vs Nvidia battle back in the day. Nvidia kept the pressure and was so far ahead technologically that 3DFX adopted to add multiple chips on the same cards to be able to compete. Unfortunately the cards where too expensive and they still failed to compete on a equal footing with the Geforce cards, resulting in the Company going bankrupt and Nvidia being the market leader. | | Just because he served in 3 wars doesn't mean he's aggressive. Enlisting in the Military has nothing to do with being aggressive, and fighting in a war doesn't necessarily means he actually fought in the war. He could have served as a support unit fixing equipment, cooking and hundreds of other jobs that doesn't include fighting. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Nintendo has been pulling this bullshit since the days of Zelda on the old NES. Hell I remember Metal Gear Solid was seriously hard to find and it cost over $100 in some NYC stores, this was back in the late 80's, so this is nothing new. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Anytime I think of Atari I think of Neverwinter Nights 2. This is probably the easiest game to come out with expansion packs and they haven't taken advantage of this. So far they released one expansion pack, and have one on hold for 6 months. Ossian Studios finished the expansion last year and Atari has not released it because they have a new copy protection scheme they want to implement. So instead of releasing a game that the fans are desperately been waiting for since October 2007 and make money from the people who are actually buying the game, they prefer to waste money on copy protection for the people who are not buying the game regardless. Atari deserves to fails and the sooner they do the better for all D&D fans. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | You look at FS as a product, I look at it as an internet community. If you head over to the forum, you'll see people seeking computer advice, talking about gaming, relationships and daily events that's happening in their life. So if you have been coming here for years and all you have done is read the news and read the articles, then it's nothing more than a high tech magazine for you. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | If you people that supposely been here for 6 years let a little comment like "nice knowin' ya and have fun with your press releases elsewhere.", bother you so much that you'll leave the site for it than you're really not that big of a fan of Firingsquad. Personally, I've been visiting this site since Thresh was around and I've seen people come and go. Some years the site is weak and some years it's been great, but overall it's been a place where I've gotten free entertainment and learned a few things. So I'm sticking with FS, and I implore the rest do the same, Mr Brett will not be here for ever, so if you don't like his style just take it for what it is and enjoy the rest of the site.
