I agree. there has to be a stable game to compete with. CS 1.6 is probably the most reliable, along with Q3. However, its unlikely that they could make a great league based off those 2 games/franchises because they are hardly pretty to look at and we all know that sponsors want the best looking/newest games to be marketed.
I feel they had the boxing episode because they wanted to show what life was becoming like on Galactica and the tensions of not having any imminent threat to the crew.
