| It wasn't Nintendo announcing this, but rather the stupid Sonic Solutions company they chose. I'm sure Nintendo would've rather'd they shut up about it, but the company just had to go and pound their chests and brag. A-holes.
I agree with everyone else though. DVD playback on a console isn't important. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Pretty decent card, but nothing to get excited about. I'd recommend it over the X1900GT and X1800XT because of reduced heat/noise. The performance difference between the 3 isn't really noteworthy.
AGP version is interesting. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Yeah really. Why does it look like she's not wearing a shirt underneath a jean jacket? Weird. To me that's the bigger question.
As far as being photoshopped, I'm not a professional and I really couldn't tell you. Even though it looks suspicious, there could be some weird shadows going on.
The mother certainly can't prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt, and needs to shut the hell up with her overreacting. Flag this | Edit this post |

| For gaming and watching movies, a single, larger display is better. (Provided you have the necessary graphics horsepower of course)
For multitasking and productivity, dual screens would probably be better, and this is certainly the cheaper solution. Flag this | Edit this post |

| What this shows is that in order for there to be a performance difference, the cards must be slightly exceeding the bandwidth alotted to them by PCIe x8 (which is about the same bandwidth as AGP).
If the above is true, then this means that AGP would be hitting it's bandwidth ceiling right about now, and be becoming a performance limitation.
If current cards are able to max out AGP's bandwidth under SLI, then the upcoming DX10 cards should probably be able to do this with a single card. Flag this | Edit this post |

| As a few others have said, I also only see this happening on the low end. While it might bring a slight performance benefit over integrated (motherboard) graphics, the fact that you're still using slow system memory with (relatively) high latency means that performance will never begin to approach that of discrete graphics cards.
Pairing a big powerful GPU with a CPU would also bring about horrible yields, not to mention the heat issue. In addition to the slow memory, this virtually guarantees that the graphics core itself would also need to be very weak. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I still can't understand what happened that was so horrible and "against his morals" that he'd need to turn down $50 mil.
I suppose he's not obligated to explain anything to us, but until he does, I'm just gonna assume he became a crackhead. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Excellent review. It's refreshing to read a speaker review for a change, and I'm actually very interested to hear how these speakers sound now.
BTW, where do you buy your DACs?? I'm looking to pick up a pair of high-end headphones soon, and I always have a hard time finding where to buy things of that sort. Flag this | Edit this post |
