| | Seems a bit extreme. More like that graphics cards will be replace by having the GPU on the motherboard, in a seperate socket. Then you have a motherboard with 2 sockets and 2 memory banks, 1 of each for the CPU and 1 of each for the GPU. With those dual sockets they can communicate using Hypertransport and Torrenza technology, and the socket will furthermore allow for easy upgrading. Instead of a new videocard, you just upgrade your GPU and/or graphics memory instead. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Do they protect your data against hackers, too? Do they protect your private data against other people?
That analyst is blinded by technologies like Pervasive Computing, and thinks everything that's introduced to the market will be accepted without complaint by everyone. That analyst is wrong. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If the lives of 300 IDF soldiers could save the lives of 301 civilians, it is worth it. And in this case it was more than 301 lives that could have been spared by taking a more careful approach.
Sure, I care about the soldiers that would protect my country. But they chose to expose themselves to the risk of death and injury. I care equally much, if not more, for the innocent civilians that get caught in the middle of the fighting, that had no choice. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Many people support fighting against the militant branch of Hezbollah. It the strategy and the means Israel uses to achieve that goal that people have problems with.
Israel could have fought Hezbollah with MUCH less destruction, MUCH less impact on innocent lebanese civilian lives.
Instead they go and wreak needless destruction in their zeal to get at Hezbollah. Israel should not have bombed, especially not with clusterbombs, and left all the bridges and power plants intact. And pay for the damage caused to the innocent civilians that get accidentally hit during the Israeli attacks.
Israel should have placed the innocent civilians first - taken every precaution possible to prevent damage to them. They did not, except some token effort warning people to evacuate their property, leave everything they own to see it destroyed.
THAT is what so many people rail against. Flag this | Edit this post |

| No, it's because the west has been imposing it's will and culture upon the middle east since the time of the colonisation. Have you ever paused to consider WHY they want the west annihilated?
They want to be treated fairly, as equals, and have their culture respected. They want to live in freedom, want to see their fellow arabs live in freedom. The Israeli occupation of the palestinian territories is like an open wound in which Israel keeps rubbing salt. It needs to heal before the hate can subside.
Only when the hate subsides will there be lasting peace. Killing arabs and destroying their property isn't going to make the hate subside.
Also, do not automatically assume Iran is trying to get a nuke. Look at the depletion of fossil fuels and you'll see the need to use nuclear energy to bridge the gap before enough sustainable energy sources are found. Would you deny Iran the nuclear energy they have a right to? Plunge them into darkness when the fossil fuels run out, just because you fear what they might possibly do? Flag this | Edit this post |

| "Israel keeps better peace then other nations do."
That's not true. Peace is not kept by making your neighbours hate you, by oppressing their relatives and destroying or threatening to destroy their property. Peace is kept by befriending and respecting your neighbours, while staying within your own borders. The peace between the Netherlands and Belgium shouls serve as an example for Israel about how peace is truly kept.
"Israel literally gave away a good chunk of their land to those ungrateful Palestinian bastards. Those bastards just wanna see Israel in flames for no reason."
They did not give it away, they gave it BACK to the palestinians. Not unlike returning stolen property. They should be grateful the palestians are willing to allow Israel to keep some of their lands, and have only some of their land returned to them.
"People say Israel took the Palestinian's land. Well, the British gave it to the Israelis, and it was theres since biblical times. If you say that, then USA might aswell give away their land to the Indians."
The USA was property of the Indians since biblical times, too, you know. So according to YOUR argument, america should do just that. Flag this | Edit this post |
