| | I run a dual boot system XP Pro /XP64 and I play my games in xp64 and have now problems, although I still havean AGP system..I know I hear gasps from the audience. sales of XP have gone up though and Microsoft would be pretty dumb to lose a cash cow like this and not support it. | | You also have the penalty of adding more ram will reduce your memory clock speed un less the memory is matched. I have a gig of ocz pc3200 platinum edition rev 2 just sitting here on my shelf because I bought 2 gigs of the same when i was having problems with games. | | I'd say it did my computer good. I have an AMD64 3500 and an Nforce3 ultra board and had a X800 pro in my computer. Id have to say that having HDR and shader model 3 have helped my games become more eye pleasing. The only thing I havent been able to do is oc this thing . I can oc the core but not the memory. | | I have the X1950 xge by visiontek and have found it to be a great card so far. I got a score of8700 for 3dmark05 and 4700 on 06. The only thing is that its hard for me to overclock the mem even a little bit. I can oc the core a bit but havent messed with it too much. I went from a X800 pro to this one and now can play the hdr settings on oblivion and it looks awesome. I have a AMD 64 3500+, 1 gig OCZ PC3200 mem, 500 gig sata drive, x-fi xtreme gamer Flag this | Edit this post |
