| Lemme get this straight...
He's saying, essentially, "we claim bigger damages than they do, there we must be right", isn't he? Something doesn't fit here.
Incidentally, and I've made this point before, if Epic truly did sabotage Too Human, why didn't they do the same to Mass Effect? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | What's so weird about that? It isn't really any different from a dog or cat beauty pageant. My aunt used to take her dogs to that kind of show, back when she bred dogs. It's a good way to show off your product, and if one of your animals wins, it really helps publicity. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't think Hot Coffee is the central issue here (and incidentally, no matter what you think of the minigame itself, the way Take Two handled it was a PR disaster). I think the investors care much more about the recent SEC investigation into stock option fraud by senior management. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Foie gras? Korean pears?? Well, at least it's no ordinary hamburger, to say the least.
The kind of stuff you can get at the most expensive class of hotels around the world is pretty silly generally, in my (limited) experience. Much of it really seems like it was specially designed for people who have spent all they possibly can on stuff that actually makes sense, and still have money to spare. | | I'll freely admit that I'm no history buff, but my impression of the Crusades is that they were generally mainly concerned with the Holy Land in general and Jerusalem in particular, and that they never went much further east than Damascus. But please enlighten me. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm reminded of an old joke:
Q: Why does a dog lick its crotch?
A: Because it can.
Seriously, why is this even an issue? Don't people realize that the "RP" in MMORPG stands for "role-playing"? And didn't we get over this back when Tomb Raider was news? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Ah. The "limited time demo" strikes again. Too bad, I was rather looking forward to trying out TT, but I'm not going to get a 360 until after Christmas at the earliest. Also, any company that pulls this kind of stunt (that includes PC publishers who limit their demos to a certain amount of playtime or a certain amount of starts) instantly loses any prospect of me buying their game. | | Well, there's always www.xenu.net. They've got the whole scoop, and even a way to get the entire holy writings if you're really interested. They were submitted as evidence by the defendants in a Scientology lawsuit in Sweden a few decades ago, and are consequently public record in Sweden :-) Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Assuming that the company formerly known as Infinium is really just an elaborate investment scam (and not a grossly mismanaged company), you have to admire their chutzpah. First they call their main product "Phantom", and now they change the entire company's name to it - and say that "the new name better reflects the long-term growth strategy of the Company" to boot! Anyone still investing money in this company must want to lose it. Flag this | Edit this post |
