| | It's a shame she spent time in jail for something she most likely did not do.. but you can't sue a company for getting arrested because a device was working as designed. The camera was supposed to tape video in time lapse. There is nothing wrong with the footage. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | This isn't something they have been working on a long time. It was part of the game they had already developed but cut out so they could make ship date. You are basically going to pay more money for the features you should have had anyway.. Us that where in early beta remember some of those features. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Then this law has nothing to do with anything. There is nothing stopping a parent from buying thier kids ANYTHING. If a parent wants to buy thier kid alcohol they can.. if they want to buy them porn they can.. hell if they wanted to buy them guns they can. This law strictly prohibits the sale of the games to minors. Nothing you have said has anything to do with this law. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | That doesn't apply here.. You are saying that if a kid buy alcohol and gets in a wreck you can sue the store.. well no shit.. the store should not have been selling the kid alcohol to begin with as it is illegal to sell to a minor. If it was an adult who bought the alcohol and got into a wreck then the bartender is at fault not the store.. it is the bartenders responsibillity to observe his patrons and make sure he does not overserve them.. argue with me on this if you want, but I am tabc certified as I bartended in college. Needless to say.. the same rules apply. Minors can't buy the game. So if they minor did get sold the game and went out and killed somebody, only the store clerk would actually be held responsible as it was his job to check the ID. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This is retaarded.. you are telling me that a parent can keep a 17 year old from doing something? Yes a parent can keep a child from playing games like this.. but this entire law is about people who can BUY the games not play them. A 10 year old will most likely not be able to buy the game.. however a 15-17 year old probably will and the parents would have no clue. A 15 to 17 year old kid can easily have a job and be buying all his own stuff like an xbox or ps2 and the parents would be glad because they are showing responsibility. The parent is not going to know about all the p
pron and video games one of these older kid buys. Not to mention that if it is something that the kid should not have.. it is a gaurantee that the kid will be able to hide it. No, kids don't hide things under thier dressers anymore. If the kid doesn't want it found it won't be found. So don't be naive and say this is the soul responsibity of the parent, when the parents can't control the older kids completely. When parenting a 16 or 17 year old.. what video game they are playing doesn't usually even concern a parent, as they are more worried about drugs and secx. Video games are of no concern to parents when kids are that age. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Don't be a moron. The responsibility falls on that one retailer and the sales clerk. This is absolutely no differrent than alcohol and the bartender. If the retailer sells or rents the game to a minor they are at fault, regardless of if they check ID or not. This has not hurt the alcohol industry in the slightest and won't hurt the game industry either. Flag this | Edit this post |
