| | I hope this isn't the beginning of game developers charging money to finish a game or add features online...after you've bought the game. It's a great money making idea I guess, but it really sucks the life out of gaming itself. If Sony does this, other developers will follow suit, and gaming won't be the same for a long time. | The main problem was Sony's greed. Mainly Sony Picture's greed. I bet that BlueRay was forced onto the PS3 because those losers at Sony Pictures wanted a platform to secure the next format for movies. And what better platform than the Playstation? But obviously the technology is too expensive to put into the console, so it basically ruined Sony's market advantage.
If the PS3 is as good as they keep saying it is, Sony might keep its dominance. But if it falls short, Sony's console market share will decline dramatically. They're lucky Japan doesn't buy many xBoxes. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | It's about time. Intel's been selling their PD 930 for around $200 for a while. I know the AMD X2s are a better processor, but I don't know if most people would be willing to shell out $100-$200 more for the AMD. I know I wouldn't if I were building a rig. Flag this | Edit this post |
